Today, the Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575-33BM is the subject of our review. This Acer offers one of the best hardware setups among budget laptops
If you looking for a budget laptop featuring a Kaby Lake processor, the E5-575-33BM is probably one of the most affordable options.
Overview
The Acer Aspire series is quite diverse, composed of a wide range of products, including laptops and desktops. In the laptop market, the Aspire E 15 is extremely successful for its affordability and versatility.
In this review, we have the Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575-33BM, one of the latest releases by this Taiwanese manufacturer, which is already a best seller in its category. Its main highlight, in my opinion, is the all new Intel Core i3 processor, from the latest generation of Intel Chips, named Kaby Lake.
The i3-7100U is a quite fast dual core processor, with a base frequency of 2.40 GHz. It uses the hyper-threading technology, and behaves nicely using Windows 10 on this Acer laptop.
It also uses the DDR4 SDRAM technology, which is considerably faster than DDR3, and will definitely influence your multi-tasking performance.
Pros
One of the positive points of this laptop is delivering performance at an affordable price. It is currently among the best budget laptops using a Kaby Lake processor.
It also has a quite good battery life, lasting up to 12 hours according to the manufacturer. Finally, its 1 TB hard drive disk is more than enough to store all your software and multiple large files.
Cons
Despite having a Kaby Lake processor, this laptop is inferior to those using i5 or i7 processors from the same generation. If you want to consider a more powerful Acer laptop, you can check the Acer E 15 E5-575G-75MD, which was recently reviewed on Value Nomad.
