Acer is probably my favorite brand when it comes to mid-level laptops. The Aspire series is one of the most successful in this laptop niche, releasing successful computers since 1999.

The Acer E5-575G-76YK is part of the Aspire series, and was released in 2016. I would consider as an upper mid-level laptop as it has some superior features such as dedicated video card, and Full HD resolution.

The Core i7-6500U processor powers this laptop, and is a dual core chip released in 2015 by Intel. Part of the latest generation of Intel processors, the i7-6500U has a low energy consumption, but is one of the most powerful dual core chips for laptops.

Acer E5-575G-76YK: Pros

There are two key features to highlight on this laptop. The first is its dedicated video card, and the second is its display resolution.

The GeForce 940MX is a mid-level dedicated video card recently released by NVIDIA. It will certainly improve your graphics if you like gaming or work with CGI software on your lapop.

This Acer Aspire has Full HD resolution on its 15.6 display. It will certainly make the difference if you like to watch movies and documentaries on your laptop.

Finally it’s worth mentioning that this laptop has 8 GB DDR4 RAM. The DDR4 technology is by far superior to the DDR3 in terms of speed, which is another positve aspect on this laptop.

Cons

In its price category, the Acer E 15 is an incredible machine. It is extremely fast, and yet versatile.

The only point to be considered is to evaluate your needs before buying it. If you are a gamer, perhaps you should consider a quad core laptop since their performance is far greater than dual cores like this Acer.
