The Acer Aspire F15 has a number of different models released since mid 2015, so check this review to see what are the good and bad points of this portable PC.
Acer is one the most successful brands when it comes to entry and mid level laptops namely because of its best selling Aspire One Cloudbook, and much of this success is related to the fact they offer a great number of devices to choose from, being able to target virtually all niches of customers.
The Acer Aspire F15 – What Can You Expect
There are a few different version for the F15, such as the Acer Aspire F 15 F5-571T-569T and the F5-572-57T8. What I have to say is that I have not identified major differences between the F15 variants, apart from the processor, but even then, these differences are not so sharp. Most models have 8GB, but I have found one with 16GB RAM too.
Its either equiped with the i5-4210U or the i5-6200U, being the first most commonly found on the Acer Aspire F 15, with an advantage for the i5-6200u, which is already a Skylake processor. Both processors are dual cores.
According to user reports from various sources, it can reach to 7+ hours of battery life, which is truly not bad for a 15.6-inch screen laptop, but then again, it depends on th tasks which you will be performing.
Acer Aspire F15 For Gaming or Office
Being this a mid range laptop, it will run a number of games with decent resolution, but don’t expect to run any of the latest generation games maxed out, but this laptop will allow you to have a varied use with a timely performance in terms of processor.
This Acer laptop from the F Series, has a 1TB of storage running at 5400 rpm, which is plenty of storage, and quite good in this price range.
