Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G-75MD: Overview

We constantly review Acer Aspire laptops here in Value Nomad, and most of them have an overall great performance. The Aspire E 15 series is mostly composed of mid range models, however within the series itself, there are models for different types of users. The E5-575G-75MD is in particular one of the most powerful among the currently available Acer Aspire notebooks.

The processor is one of the most important components in any computer, and this laptop has a quite powerful one. The i7-7500U was released by Intel in 2016, and is part of the seventh generation of chips developed by the brand, named “Kaby Lake“. The i7-7500U is a dual core processor with hyper-threading and a base frequency of 2.70 GHz. This processor has a quite high benchmark, and performs very well with multi-tasking on Windows 10.

Another extremely positive of this laptop is that it comes with 8 GB RAM DDR4. Not only 8 GB is ideal for running most software, but also the DDR4 technology is much faster than the DDR3.

Pros

Apart from the positive hardware aspects above mentioned, this laptop still has more interesting points. It comes with a 256 GB SSD for storage, which I consider quite good for its price range. SSDs are faster than HDDs, and combined with its Kaby Lake processor and 8 GB RAM, this laptop responds very well in most situations.

The manufacturer also claims that this laptop battery can last up to 12 hours. Even if the battery duration depends on the task you will performing, you can except above the average levels for the Acer E 15 E5-575G-75MD.

Cons

There are very few negative points about this laptop. However, it is a 15 inch laptop, and if you need a very lightweight and compact device, you should probably consider the Acer Swift 3 instead.
