ASUS UX360CA-AH51T: Overview
If you like laptops you probably know how successful the ASUS ZenBook series is. We have recently reviewed one version of the ZenBook Flip on Value Nomad, and it’s light, powerful and beautiful.
The ASUS UX360CA-AH51T has everything a user can expect on a lightweight device, but it also features a new Kaby Lake processor. Kaby Lake is the seventh generation of Intel processors, and it brings some important improvements in terms of benchmark when compared to its predecessor (Skylake).
The Intel i5-7Y54 powers this ZenBook Flip version, and was released in the Q3 2016. It is a dual core processor, with hyper-threading and base frequency of 1.2 GHz. It has an extremely low TDP, making the ZenBook to be extremely energy efficient.
Pros
The dimensions and portability of the ASUS ZenBook Flip are definitely its biggest highlight. There are not many compact laptops as powerful as the ZenBook flip. The ASUS UX360CA-AH51T is a very thin device and has a weight of just 2.9 lbs.
Its battery life is also extremely long, you can work long hours without recharging this laptop. Finally, this laptop also has a 512 GB solid state drive, which is becoming the standard for high-end ultra thin laptops.
Cons
This laptop comes with 8 GB DDR3 RAM. That is more than enough for running Windows 10 smoothly, however it would be better to see this ASUS using the DDR4 technology.
