ASUS X556UB-DM262T: Overview

The ASUS X Series focuses on mid-level laptops with modern components and some of the latest processors developed by Intel. The X556UB-DM262T reflects perfectly the concept of ASUS X Series, with an Core i3 from the latest generation of Intel processors.

The battery life can last up to 6 hours according to the manufacturer, but considering it is a 15 inch laptop with a dedicated video card, that is rather satisfactory.

Pros

Apart from its Skylake processor and plenty of RAM, this laptop also has a dedicated video card. The NVIDIA GeForce 940M is a mid level dedicated GPU, and a good advantage if you like playing on your laptop.

I would also consider its storage capacity of 128 GB an advantage, since it is a solid state drive. You can easily improve your storage with an SD card, an USB stick or an external SSD if you need more space.

This laptop is well-balanced and affordable, however it has some limitations. If you need a powerful device for tasks that require high processing power or heavy games, you should consider an Skylake quad core powered laptop.
