When it comes to battery life, you can always check reviews, and search for the mAh number(milli Ampere per Hour), which is the best indicator for your how long your battery will last (the higher mAh number, the better).
Finally, if you plan to use your bluetooth device outdoor, you should look for a water resistant, or even waterproof model, but this feature might influence the sound quality too.
