If you are looking to buy a new portable PC, the newest dell quad core laptops to consider in 2016 will give you a good insight of what you can except from your new machine.
One thing that caught my attention recently is how well Dell quad core laptops (but dual cores too) are doing extremely well you analyze their feedback score and reviews on the biggest retail websites like Amazon and Ebay.
It leads me to conclude that Dell is manufacturing some of the most well built laptops available on the market, which have not only a good choice of hardware components, but also a decent structure, which results in sturdy laptops with an excellent performance.
Dell Quad Core Laptops with Skylake Processors
The Skylake generation of Intel processors was released in the second half of 2015 and Dell already has a wide variety of skylake laptops. Not all Skylake laptops are quad cores, so in this laptop list we will only feature laptops with the i5-6300HQ and the i7-6700HQ processors, with are both skylake and quad core processors.
Another extremely favorable point about Dell laptops and their position on the market is their price range. While other brands have their laptops costing easily above 1000 dollars, you can find some reliable Dell laptops with quad core processors under the price bracket of 1000 USD (although you can also find some above that level as well).
Note: prices are also seasonal, and can vary drastically for the same models, I will soon write a guide about when is the best time of the year to buy laptops.
Do You Really Need a Dell Quad Core Laptop
If you use your laptop seldom, and you don’t do anything more than watching Netflix and edit some MS Word documents, you can buy a much cheaper laptop and you will be just fine. However, if you work with your laptop on a full time basis, managing complex projects or use it for gaming purposes, I would advise you to choose a quad core laptop.
