Lenovo 700-15ISK Laptop: First Impressions
It’s true that Lenovo took a bit longer to deliver a solid series of laptops with the newest Skylake processors, but now, with the Lenovo 700-15ISK you have a good option to buy an extremely powerful laptop at a decent price. We tested the Lenovo 700-15ISK on its silver version, but it also comes in black.
The outside design of this laptop is quite appealing, with a silver / white body, JBL speakers and a backlit keyboard with 2 levels of light intensity. It has a clean and smart look, which reminds one of their immediate competitors, the MSI PE60, which is in the same category of price and has a similar hardware setup.
Lenovo 700-15ISK Specs and Highlights
The most appealing hardware component of this laptop is its processor: there are versions with the i5-6300HQ and the i7-6700HQ, which are quad core processors with some of the highest benchmark rates for 2016. It’s not hard to find laptops powered by the i7-6700HQ that costs as twice as much as the Lenovo 700-15ISK. So this model is certainly one of the cheapest in the category of high-end laptops that can run the latest games.
It comes with a 15.6″ Full HD screen, and even if it’s not a touchscreen, its an IPS display with very sharp image processing, you will certainly be not disappointed with the quality the images are processed on the screen, but its NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 M with 2GB of dedicated memory.
