If you are looking for a laptop with an unique design and a good value for the money, check this review the Lenovo IdeaPad 305, it might be a great option
Unlike Acer or HP, it’s not so often that Lenovo produces laptops that aren’t black, silver or gray. The Lenovo IdeaPad 305 is an exception to this rule, with three different vivid chassis colours, which I consider a good initiative from the brand, giving users more options to choose in terms of design.
Lenovo IdeaPad 305: Overview
Released in 2015 and available in the UK (and other countries like Malaysia and UAE), the Lenovo IdeaPad 305 is budget mid-level laptop with three different options of processor, and also three colors to choose from, which helps it to please different user profiles.
The colours available on the IdeaPad 305 are: blue, green and purple. The parts of the chassis which are not in one of these three colors are in the usual dark gray / black you see in most laptops. From the colour options, there are 3 different types of processors to choose from on your IdeaPad 305. However, not all colours are available with all the processor options, therefore make sure you find one that has the ideal hardware setup for your needs, and hopefully the ideal colour as well. The processors available on different versions of the IdeaPad 305 are: Intel Celeron N2840, Intel i3-4005u, Intel i3-5005u.
I am going to focus on the specs of the following IdeaPad 305 model numbers: 80NJ00FGUK (Green), 80NJ00F5UK (Blue), 80NJ00FFUK (Purple). All these 3 model numbers have the Intel i3-5005u, which is a 5th generation Intel processor released in 2015 and often present in entry to mid level laptops, mostly on devices with a good battery life.
Lenovo IdeaPad 305: Pros
Apart from the unusual and beautiful design, this laptop has a very good hardware setup. There are versions with 4GB RAM and 500GB HDD, and also those with 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD, since these specs will give you more flexibility and a better user experience while using Windows 10.
Lenovo IdeaPad 305: Cons
There are very few negative points about this laptop. If you want to use it for general tasks, academic research, work and video streaming it will be excellent purchase. If you are a gamer or work with heavy software, I would suggest looking for a laptop with a more powerful hardware device
