Just like Acer and Asus, MSI is a Taiwanese company which is increasing its fan base every year thanks to the great gaming laptops and motherboards they manufacturer. The MSI GP62 Leopard Pro 6QF is no exception to this rule, and to make things even better, it is quite affordable.
MSI GP62 Leopard Pro Overview
There are a few different models of the GP62 available, but on this post we will analyse the technical aspects of MSI GP2 Leopard Pro 6QF. Among the different models of the GP62 there are very few differences, mostly related to the RAM memory size, video card model and storage capacity (HDD + SSD).
The first and most important hardware component of a gaming laptop is undoubtedly its processor. In the case of the MSI GP62 Leopard Pro, performance is not a problem, as it is powered by the i7-6700HQ, a quad core processor part of the sixth generation of Intel chips released in 2015.
The second important hardware component on a gaming laptop is its video card. The GP62 Leopard Pro 6QF has the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M, which is a upper level mobile video card with 2GB VRAM and capable of running most of the latest games like Fallout 4 and The Witcher 3.
MSI GP62 Leopard Pro 6QF: Is it a Good Choice?
For a high-end gaming laptop, the Leopard Pro is quite affordable, although there is room from improvement on this gaming laptop, expanding the RAM to 32 GB is probably a good idea. The i7-6700HQ is one of the fastest mobile processors, and it’s 15.6″ Full HD display will guarantee a good gaming experience, as even if 4K gaming is already a reality, it is not so widespread. As a gamer, you can buy the MSI GP62 and have no doubt that it will deliver endless ours of fun with good FPS at great graphic settings.
